Volunteer Information: Signing Up on Volunteer Hub

  1. To sign up at Volunteer Hub, point your web browser at the Volunteer Hub website, located at habitat-at-upc.volunteerhub.com (there is also a link towards the bottom of the sidebar to the left for convenience when you return to the UPC/Habitat website).

  2. Use the "Sign In" link in the upper right corner of the page to go to the sign in page.

  3. On the sign in page, enter your username and password.
    • If you are a regular Volunteer Hub user, enter your username and password.

    • If this is your first time using Volunteer Hub, please refer to our instructions for getting started with Volunteer Hub.

    • If you cannot remember your password, click the "Forgot your password?" link to go to the Password Reminder webpage. Here, you can enter your username and have the system mail you your password (Hint: many Volunteer Hub users use their email address as their password).

    • If you had an account on the old Volunteer Hub website but have not used the new one, your account may have been transferred over. Try your old account name and password, and if that doesn't work, please create a new one by refering to our instructions for getting started with Volunteer Hub. (Hint: on the old Volunteer Hub site, usernames were typically your email address and passwords were typically the neighborhood in which the construction you were working on took place).

  4. Once you have signed in, you will see a list of upcoming events, with the number of people signed up and eligible to participate listed on the right. For example "(7/10)" implies that there are 10 slots available for that activity and that 7 have signed up so far.

  5. To sign up for an event, first find the event in the "All Events" list and click the "SIGN UP" button next to it. This will take you to a summary of the event.

  6. After verifying that you've selected the correct event, click "Next". This will take you to a confirmation page.

  7. Once you've reviewed that the event and your user information are correct, click "Finish" to confirm your participation. This will take you to an "Event Registration: Complete" page.

  8. Click "Finish" to be taken back to the main Habitat for Humanity at UPC page.

  9. Once you've signed up for one or more volunteer dates, your main Volunteer Hub page will list your personal upcoming events before listing all of the upcoming UPC events. To cancel your participation in one of the events, click the "CANCEL" button next to the corresponding event. This will give you the option to cancel out of the event in much the same way that you signed up for it.
